Quim

QUIM is a Danish singer, songwriter and pianist, who will grace the stage at Krudttønden at the piano with a concert set of ten songs written in Danish language.
The lyrical universe evolves around themes such as identity, existence, gender and sexuality, while the musical inspirations draws from pop, cabaret, soul, jazz and classical music, underlined by QUIMs characteristic piano playing that has poetic feel to it.
Earlier this year QUIM performed solo at the piano at Copenhagen Jazz Festival at the venue. But this evening QUIM will be joined on stage by two acclaimed instrumentalists: bass player and musical composer Asger Thomsen, and musician and composer, Henrik Marstal, who will add an ambient feel to the universe through his improvisational style on his chordless bass
